Kuwait’s Friday Market, located in Al Rai Area, was tendered as a B.O.T competition project.

This project provides an open shaded retail area composed of 2,500, 4x4 “bastas” or open market stalls, which can be combined to accommodate larger vendor stalls to sell items new and/or used, such as furniture, electronics, specialty items, and animals or pets. This market is uniquely designed to accommodate different kinds of vendors, visitors, and their needs, integrating retail space planning with functional architecture design principles. The landscape architecture complements the open-air market, ensuring comfort and accessibility for all users. The construction management and site supervision ensure the space functions smoothly, offering a sustainable and dynamic environment for commercial activity.
